Elimin8Hate is now joined by Carmel Tanaka as Community Engagement Director

To help support the Elimin8hate campaign, we welcome our newest team member serving as our Community Engagement Director is Carmel Tanaka. Tanaka (she/her) is no stranger to combatting racism and hatred through her tireless community bridge-building, cross-cultural and intersectional work. Promoting inclusion, diversity and social justice are her jam. We are honoured to have Tanaka join the VAFF team. 

As a queer Jewish Asian woman stoked to join @VAFFVancouver and @proj1907 - both of which are led and organized by rad Asian women - on the @Elimin8Hate campaign, Tanaka encourages anyone who has been a target of COVID-19-related racist and hateful attacks to step forward and file a report here
